How to Reserve the Photo Studio

Found these posted on a wall in the IP studios as I was passing through. How could we make using the photo studio easier? Maybe it could be card access once you get the demo? Or at least make Photo-Joe run the schedule so you can rent the room and the photo equipment at the same time! Read on if you want to see a possible proposal to make it easier.

Better Chairs for the Art School NOW!

First posted in the "Street Gallery" (aka: 1st floor hallway on east of the building) this poster demands we can do better. Have you seen the new chairs on the 3rd floor? Shit, our chairs are from the 60's or something, and we are expected to sit in them for up to 6 hours a day!? Something is out of whack!

Small text at bottom reads:
Art students spend on average 576 hours per year seated on chairs so uncomfortable they make waterbond torture seem luxurious.

Attention! Lost Eraser.

Is it appropriate that the entire student body is notified for Aldo's lost eraser?  We get enough "legit" email spam every week (Study-abroad, John Luther, Art events, etc.) but this is a new low.  Please can we all just take ourselves a bit more seriously?

Please reply to Aldo Hernandez (aldoh@umich.edu) if you have seen an eraser of this type.

You guys! This is serious!

Everyone rants and raves about how important our feedback is...

Yet this ^ teeny little box is the only 'non-scripted' portion of any art class course evaluation i have ever taken. I know for a fact that faculty have the option to customize and expand on the specificity, number of text boxes, and specific questions on the evaluation. In my opinion this lack of diligence hints at the actual (un) importance.
